From Ocean Debris to Art
Sabine, the artist and founder, transforms beach-found materials into art.
Collected along the beaches of Portugal, marine debris such as fishing rope, microplastics and other beach-found fragments become part of paintings, textiles and home décor pieces. Each work reflects the beauty of the sea while drawing attention to the materials we leave behind.
Through her work, Sabine brings together the beauty of the ocean and the importance of sustainability. She embroiders and incorporates these ocean-found materials into her canvases and shares her techniques in creative workshops.
